What is a nationally recognised course?

A nationally recognised course is a course that contains the minimum elements of required study, set by the government. Once successfully completed it will lead to receiving vocational qualifications and credentials that are nationally recognised across Australia delivered by registered training organisations (RTOs) or their partners. Each accredited course is allocated a national code and is listed on the national register available at <>.

What is the non recognised course?

Non-nationally recognised course is training that does not meet all the requirements needed to receive a nationally recognised certificate. This training does not meet the minimum activity or specified content or predetermined plan designed to develop employment-related skills and competencies.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, we offer weekly payment plans for all our short courses and full qualifications. To start your payment plans, go to the course you are interested in, and ‘Click to pay via Instalments’ button and follow the online prompts.

When I can start?

Anytime! We have many different study options for you to choose from, so you can start anytime. We have Flexible Class Delivery – part Correspondence and part On Campus, fulltime Day Classes and part time Night Classes.

We have a new fulltime on Campus courses starting every week. Our Course Calendar is available online so you can see what classes are coming up.

What if the course calendar does not fit my schedule, can I customise the course dates?

Yes, students who wish to study any course, which is outside of the scheduled training calendar, may do so, subject to availability and conditions. An additional fee of $97 is added for such classes.

How long does the course usually take?

The majority of our recognised courses take 5 full days to complete. However, we also have 1 and 2 day Masterclasses that generally run on the weekend.

Do I need to purchase the student kit?

Yes. the majority of our courses have a mandatory student kit. Your student kit is crucial to your study, it includes your textbook and necessary beauty products required to perform the treatment in your practical classes. Most importantly, the BDLP Student Kit ensures the quality of products, and maintains the high level of hygiene required, and to deliver best possible services to clients.

How much does the student kit cost?

The student kit fees vary, it’s depends on the course you are studying, and the size of the kit you choose. Student kit options and what’s included in the kit are available on the website under the Course Kit tab of the course you wish to study.

Do I need to provide my own models?

We are a full services beauty college, which means we will provide as many models as we can for you to practice on.  Students are still required to provide some models in the case we are not able to source enough models.  We find students always have friends and family who are always excited to have a treatment, they are welcome to book in, simply by calling the college reception on 1300 30 31 40.

Students need to call 2 -3 days before their course starts to see if you need to bring additional models.

I have completed the course elsewhere, however I am not confident my skills, can I join the class to improve my skills?

Yes, we proudly offer Student Clinic practical sessions to all students even if you are new to BellDonLaqua Istituto. Student Clinic means you can complete practical hours on live paying clients in our simulated Beauty Salon.

Whether you need to complete additional practical towards your work placement hours or simply want to refresh and speed up your beauty skills, you can now do so in our fully supervised Student Clinic were a trainer can continue to coach you to perfect your skills.

Do I get a certificate at the end of my course?

Absolutely! You will receive certificate on successful completion of all the components in the course.

What does Accredited certificate via RPL mean?

BellDonLaqua is currently not an RTO (Registered Training Organisation), but all our training programs are delivered to meet government standards. Whilst we are in the process of applying to be an RTO we have collaborated with an RTO who is able to issue you with a recognised accredited certificate.

You will receive BellDonLaqua Istituto certificate on successful completion of your course, if you are a permanent resident or citizen you are able to receive a second nationally accredited certificate, when select the Accredited certificate via RPL when you enrol into the course.

I have already enrolled into a course, but I would like to transfer to another course date?

Sure, you will need to make request via phone, or email 14 days prior to your enrolled course start date and transfer to another future class.  You may do this one time only for the next available course date. A $97 admin fee applies for transfers.

Yes, however you must meet the prerequisites of new course that you wish to transfer. So, you will need to make request via phone, text or email 14 days prior to your enrolled course. You may do this one time only for the next available course date. A $97 admin fee applies for transfers.

Can I leave the deposit to secure my spot?

Yes, you can secure a spot in a class by leaving a deposit of $197. The balance must be cleared strictly 7 days prior to your class commencing. Course deposit is made directly through the BellDonLaqua Istituto Administration Office, and office number is 1300 30 31 40.

Where can I find my course timetable?

Once your enrolment is processed online, you will receive an email, which requires you to complete additional information relating to your enrolment.  This important email also includes your course timetable and classroom.

After I have done my course what support does BellDonLaqua Istituto offer to students?

BellDonLaqua is quiet particular about offering ongoing support to students once they go out into the Beauty Industry and offers the following to all students:
